What inspires your music?

Pretty much my life experiences, both internal and external. Lately, films and TV shows have inspired me more.

Who are some of your influences?

Bob Dylan, JJ Cale, Taj Mahal, Paul Simon, Gordon Lightfoot, a million others...

What are some of your favorite memories from your career?

The first time recording on tape at Eric Valentin’s studio. Making songs on a cassette 4-track for the first time ever during the pandemic with my pal Nolan. Going on my first tour with my old band, Vista Kicks, during the summer of 2016, and listening to that first Whitney record like a million times. Working at Gus Seyffert's studio watching Roger Waters hang out with my basset hound, Charlie, while working on the Dark Side Redux.

Which of your projects do you love the most?

“So True”. All the lead vocals and guitar solos were tracked live with a band. That's a first for me. Even the overdubs were done 'live' together in groups.

Who are some of the collaborators who helped you create your favorite works?

My producer pal Nathan Camino. My go-to keys player Raymon Joseph . My pal Nolan LeVine.

What are you most excited to bring to your fans next?

Another record of tunes I've been writing this year.

What are your goals for this upcoming year?

I'm going to put out another record early next year (2026). Also, opening an analog recording studio up in the pacific northwest.

How can your fans and our readers best support you right now?

They can start by deleting their spotify accounts. Stream on more ethical streamers (such as Tidal). The best way to support is to come out and see me live. Purchasing my music and merch off of Bandcamp.
