Melody V is a Mexican / Dominican pop artist based in Queens, NY. She grew up singing opera and musical theater, knew she wanted to pursue music for the rest of her life, and is now sharing her own work. In this Silver Review interview, she discusses her single “Pathway,” her musical influences, and the people and experiences that inspire her.
What inspires your music?
Everything and everyone around me inspire me

What are some of your favorite memories from your career?
I feel like I’m still stepping into the music industry and still learning and connecting with others, more memories to come back. However I feel like I was so music heavy when I was younger, and I felt like creating those young experiences going to Latin jazz classes and musical rehearsal etc will always be the highlight
Which of your songs/EPs/albums is your favorite and why?
So far I have my single pathway out now . Definitely more to come! But pathway is my first baby and it’s one that’s always going to be on the top of my list

What are you most excited to bring to your fans next?
Crossing fingers more music and maybeeee an album 👀
What are your goals for this upcoming year?
Def continuing to work on these upcoming songs in the studio!
