Baton Rouge-born artist Hal Williams performs under the moniker Parrka* (previously known as “pyramid vritra” or “Vritra”). Blending electronic music, punk, pop, and rap, the project incorporates synth lines, drum sampling, guitar, and loops to construct a distinct futuristic soundscape with a confident Southern charm and semi-dystopian wit.

Saint MartinLos Angeles

Born on the island of Saint Martin, Caribbean, Moana Avvenenti (real name, sorry Disney) grew up on a sailboat, performing alongside her musical parents.

Her multicultural influences, as well as her work as a studio-session singer, gave Moana a chance to explore a myriad of musical genres and become versatile and proficient in many styles, which has become a big part of her identity as an artist.

After graduating from Berklee College of Music summa cum laude in 2011, she wrote her first solo, original album “dotted” which was crowdfunded via IndieGogo in 2013, and followed by an endorsement deal with Daisy Rock Guitars.

Some of Moana’s credits include The Kardashians (Hulu,) Lucifer (Netflix,) Riverdale (The CW,) Love Is Blind (Netflix,) Got Talent, Disney Parks, Domino’s, Renault, NFL’s Super Bowl, The SIMS, Arknights, Wuthering Waves, and more.

Based in LA, she performed in Abu Dhabi for the Formula 1 Grand Prix; in an artist residency at Shangri-La in Jakarta, Indonesia; on the cruise ship Celebrity Infinity in the Mediterranean; as well as in several USA states & Caribbean islands; and she taught a semester at India' premier music college, SAM.

Her 2024 album “battle” was a collection of big, powerful, dragon-inspired songs, written for TV and video games, where she incarnated her alter-ego, Dragonita.

Nowadays, Moana is shifting to a more organic, intimate sound, aligning with the folky songs she's been writing in her room since she was a child.
